Sunday, October 23, 2011, was not the best day for Oakland Raiders fans, or the organization. The 28-0 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs was humiliating, though something that might have been expected with the many injuries that plagued the team.

Was there any real excuse for the way the team played on Sunday? No, a loss is a loss, and to the rival Chiefs, it’s certainly not pleasant any way you look at it. After the game, head coachHue Jackson said he takes full responsibility, and that the loss falls completely on his shoulders as the leader of the Silver and Black.
Jackson says he hopes to take advantage of the Raiders bye week to “get better” before the Denver Broncos come to Oakland on November 6. The quarterback issue turned out to be a big factor in game seven, and, frankly, could not have been much worse.
